<h2>How We Got Started</h2>
<p>It all started in 1991. A bunch of biscuit aficionados formulated their first successful crunch with a second-hand wafer stick machine in a small peaceful town of southern Malaysia. &nbsp;</p>
<p>In 1993, they finally shared their wonderful creations to the world with the birth of Munchy’s. 3 years later, a new wave of fun was unleashed with the launch of new products: MUZIC, MUNCHINI and LEXUS. These yummy trailblazers were mixed and baked in Munchy’s iconic factory in Batu Pahat.</p>

<p>Soon enough, the word got out about Munchy’s delicious creations and it didn’t stop in Malaysia. To satisfy global demands of our signature crunch, Munchworld Marketing was set up in 1997 as Munchy’s arm and sole worldwide distributor.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We then began munching into new shores, with <strong>more than 50 countries</strong> making Munchy’s their go-to snack.&nbsp;Today, our globetrotting products speak for themselves as we munched our way to every nook and cranny of the world to delight tummies everywhere.</p>

<p>With the Government of Malaysia focusing on turning the nation into an international Halal Hub, at Munchy’s, we’re proud to say that we have always recognised the importance of manufacturing only Halal products. And this dedication to preserving the sanctity of our products is reflected by our Halal status which we first received more than 10 years ago.</p>
<p>At Munchy’s, we take our Halal status very seriously and believe it to be a privilege that comes with responsibility. This is why we have a dedicated committee that deals with all things Halal. The Committee is made up of representatives from each key section that contributes to the making of our products.</p>

<p>We believe the presence of the Halal Committee further enhances our commitment to meeting Halal requirements and being Syariah compliant. Amongst the KPIs set by the Halal Committee are to issue guidelines that reduce the risk of Halal non-compliance, enhance Halal awareness within the organisation, and actively participate in Halal seminars and trade fairs. MIHAS (Malaysian International Halal Showcase), a globally recognised Halal trade show, is one such event in which we have successfully participated, and as the years progress, we will definitely be part of similar venerated activities.</p>
